HydroClean® plus cavity delivers Ringer’s solution to the wound for up to three days if it is additionally covered with a HydroClean® plus wound pad or secured with a film dressing. During this time, interactive and continuous wound irrigation takes place because the wound dressing pad also absorbs wound exudate. The PHMB bound in the SAP core has an antibacterial effect and inhibits the growth of bacteria inside the wound pad.
