Askina® SilNet Plus is a two-sided silicone wound contact layer that consists of a knitted fabric coated on both sides with silicone adhesive. The double-sided silicone design facilitates its use with secondary absorbent dressings. It is indicated for exuding or non-exuding wounds or fragile skin. The open mesh structure of Askina® SilNet Plus allows exudate to pass into a secondary absorbent dressing. Using Askina® SilNet Plus can reduce the absorbent dressing adhering to the wound directly, thereby reducing pain from dressing secondary trauma and changes and the risk of maceration.

Indication
Askina® SilNet Plus is indicated for a wide range of exuding wounds or non-exuding wounds or areas with fragile skin, such as skin tears, skin abrasions, blistering, diabetic foot ulcer, pressure ulcer, leg venous, arterial ulcer, first- and second-degree burns, partial and full thickness grafts, Epidermolysis Bullosa, surgical wounds and traumatic wounds.
